We say
This unashamedly leftfield slice of pop with its infectious melody and political twist is the comeback single for Birmingham/Berlin-based artist WEIRDO. He first made his big entrance to the scene a couple of years back with a string of releases (Disco, Butter, Armanio and SAPPHIRE), earning him much blog love from the likes of Pigeons & Planes, W Magazine, Clash, Line of Best Fit and many more, as well as Spotify UK playlist features and support from Annie Mac (New Names) and Huw Stephens at Radio 1. He then hit a creative block and decided to take some time out to live a ‘normal life’. Now he is back with this laidback, yet intriguingly dark gem about the world around us (pre-pandemic) with help from upcoming producer/mix engineer Simon Jäger and mastered by Matt Colton at Metropolis. With features confirmed with Complex, Earmilk, TMRW Mag, Louder Than War, Disco Naivete and many more, plus airplay on Amazing Radio and BBC Introducing Hertfordshire & Worcestershire, EUROTRASH is set to spark much interest in this talented artist who is currently looking for management. | |
